We are seeking a recent graduate with 1 to 2 years of hands-on lab experience in welding, particularly in joining processes, as well as experience with testing, scanning, and optical microscopes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct resistance testing and resistivity measurements.
- Perform tensile strength measurements and other material characterization tasks.
- Coordinate testing projects and collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Utilize scanning and optical microscopes for testing purposes (experience in this area is a plus).
- Support the development and management of test data and contribute to database management (database experience is a plus).
- Experience with laser welding and internal weld coupon testing for tab welding is a plus.
Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in a lab setting, preferably with a focus on welding and material testing.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with various teams and suppliers.
- Experience with welding processes, particularly joining and testing, is highly desirable.
Education Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
