Description:

The Cost Analyst will work with an organization to SLA cost comparisons, cost

consolidations, leadership reviews, requisition and needed follow up for purchase orders to ensure the procurement of needed goods and services for US departments are in place on time and accurately. Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Ensure local site management has the appropriate billing rates, holiday, vendor pay periods to appropriately submit their requirements.
  • Purchase order management.
  • Tracking requisitions through purchase order placement.
  • Monitoring usage until the invoicing period is complete.
  • Creating/Issuing delta requisitions to increase or decrease committed
  • Purchase order funds depending on the security business needs.
  • Vendor invoice payment approval and tracking.
  • Tracking Vendor invoice errors
  • KPI failure tracking.
  • Ensure all appropriate approvals and necessary back up are in place prior to payment authorization.
  • Month, Quarter & Year End Close activities as needed to support Corporate Finance.
  • Prepare assessment summaries for distribution to the sites for planned security costs for next calendar year.

Requirements:

  • Hybrid role - 3 days a week in office - 2 days remote
  • Years of experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, budgeting, or financial planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Familiarity with cost accounting principles (standard costing, variance analysis).
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting tools.
  • Experience working for a financial institution or large manufacturing company.
  • Experience working for an automotive manufacturer.
  • Proficiency in SAP and the company project writing system.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree in finance, Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or similar field from an accredited institution.
