We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage accurate and timely payroll processing for a large, multi-location workforce. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with high-volume payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 800 employees using ADP.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy.
- Reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed.
- Ensure proper tax withholdings for multi-state employees.
- Maintain accurate payroll documentation and employee records.
- Support HR and Finance teams with payroll-related inquiries.
Required Experience
- 3-4 years of ADP and high-volume payroll processing experience (800 employees).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Understanding of compensation and wage structures.
- Experience with multi-location payroll and tax compliance.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
- Analytical and research skills for payroll troubleshooting and reporting.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
