Summary:
- The main function of this controls engineering position is to lead the integration, installation, and debugging of automation equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead automation project that will involve (but are not limited to):
o Collaborative Robotics
o Vision Systems
o Autonomous Mobile Vehicles
o Other Automated Technologies
- Lead controls integration of new automation devices into existing systems utilizing:
o PLC's
o HMI's
o Plant Floor Systems
o Facilities Equipment
o Etc
- Lead the installation, debug, and start-up of automated equipment
- Lead the safety review and buy off process for automated equipment
- Provide technical support and training to on-site employees as part of new installations
- Support offsite equipment builds by attending reviews/buy-offs at equipment integrators
o Expect less than 10% travel
Skills:
- Proficient with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software
o PLC
o Experience with Safety Code preferred
- Proficient with robotics
o Fanuc CRX experience preferred
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Proficient with Vision Systems
o Sick
o Keyance
o Matrox
- Familiar with basic electrical standards
- Familiar with robotic safety standards/systems
o DCS
- Proficient in leading project teams
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field
- 5-7 Years of Experience Required
- Direct experience with integrating, installing, and/or debugging new robotic systems
