Job Details:

We are seeking a motivated Materials and Manufacturing Engineer with a strong foundation in materials science, manufacturing processes, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on Python programming skills and demonstrate the ability to analyze, process, and interpret imaging data (X-Ray, CT scan) to support materials characterization and manufacturing optimization.

This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders, contributing to the development and improvement of advanced manufacturing and inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze materials and manufacturing process data to support product and process improvements.
  • Apply Python programming for data analysis, automation, and visualization tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate material and imaging insights into actionable process recommendations.
  • Support materials testing and inspection activities, including X-Ray and CT scan analysis (preferred).
  • Utilize image processing techniques to evaluate material structures, defects, and process outcomes (preferred).
  • Document and present technical findings, reports, and recommendations clearly to engineering and management teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to materials, manufacturing, and quality control.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and process automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder interaction.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience with X-Ray and CT scan analysis for material evaluation.
  • Familiarity with image processing techniques (e.g., OpenCV, NumPy, or similar tools)
  • Exposure to manufacturing quality analysis
