Position Description:
Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems
Update program backups for machinery
Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems
Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements
Skills Required:
- Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls Siemens and/or Indramat PL7 o Electrical Background (electrician or technician) Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives
- Familiarity with VFD's, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls
Experience Required:
- 2 years of related controls and debug experience.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery
- ABB robot experience
- Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc. o Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics Ability to read blueprints
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering
