Position Description:

  • Support Engineering Manage-the- (MTC) process
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvement / six sigma projects
  • Support Project Writing to obtain capital funds for plant projects (cost save, wellness, etc.)
  • Manage project budgets and timelines - Support minor launches and product related changes within area of support
  • Lead / Support Plant Quality Initiatives / Projects
  • Provide Strong Process Engineering support for area(s) assigned
  • Uptime, Troubleshooting support, etc.
  • Maintain Engineering Documentation
  • Process Sheets, PFMEA, DCP, OIS-JSA, Visual Aids, etc.
  • Pull together cross functional teams when working on more complex projects

Skills Required:

  • Manufacturing Engineering, AutoCAD, Computer Numerical Control (CNC), Assembly Lines, Six Sigma Methodology, Process Engineering, Data Analysis, Machining, Project Management, Microsoft Excel

Experience Required:

  • Process / Manufacturing Engineering Role within Plant Environment. Fully Onsite. The vast majority is day shift.
  • Occasionally may be asked to shift schedule early or late for work involving other shifts. AutoCAD facility layout work
  • good experience in plant layout changes and manage the Vault layout database.
  • Manufacturing project management ,launching/implementing changes to machining or assembly systems Costing/Quoting experience
  • Bonus Someone who is into innovation stuff 3D printing, advanced robotics, AI vision, turning manual input processes into digital ones so this would be someone with a strong Tech interest. Ford corporate is sending me more Innovation/Tech objectives all the time.
