Job Summary:
Garage technician will be responsible for bumper-to-bumper repairs and troubleshoot/diagnose repairs/electrical issues on vehicle.
The manager is open to someone coming right out of college if they have a strong diesel background. Dealership experience on diesels, what they work on at home (project vehicles or something like their family friends) manager will be asking about this.
Requirements:
Education requirement - 2 Year Technical Degree
Years of experience - At least 8 years, but the manager is very flexible on this
Fabrication skills/welding ***BIG BONUS*** they do a lot of this
Nice to have - chauffer's license due to trucks getting heavier
ASE certification preferred - not a must have
Manager's Top Skills:
Familiar with diagnostics and fabrication
Familiar with diesel engines (all they will be working on mostly)
Ability to work with a team and be a good team player
Shift Details:
All schedules are 1st shift openings
Can choose whatever schedule they prefer 5/8 or 4/10
Schedules available:
5-8 hr days - 6AM - 2:30PM
4-10 hr days - 5AM - 3:30PM
Mon-Fri 8hr days or
Mon-Thu 10hr days or
Tues-Fri 10hr days
Onsite - 5 days no remote
