Position Description:
The Instructional Designer will design, develop, implement, test, and update engaging and effective learning solutions, including but not limited to eLearning and instructor-led training. This person will collaborate with other Learning & development (L&D) professionals, conduct performance consulting activities with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Instructional Designer - Applying instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile) to analyze learning needs, define learning objectives, design interactive learning experiences (outline and storyboard), and develop self-paced and synchronous learning solutions.
Project Management - Managing multiple projects simultaneously, from initial concept and stakeholder alignment through final delivery and/or post-implementation review. collaborating and communicating with other developers, stakeholders, learners, subject matter experts, etc.
Training and Development - Develop and implement effective blended learning solutions, including virtual workshops, job aids, and certification programs, by leveraging expertise in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise & Storyline, and multimedia tools (e.g., Adobe suite, Vyond).
Experience Required:
Expertise with course authoring tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond, Captivate, and Camtasia)
Firm grasp of adult learning and instructional design principles
Expertise in learning solution development of various modalities (i.e., instructor-led, eLearning)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to build relationships with internal and external subject matter experts and stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
Graphic design and video production Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and explain them to others
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Experience Preferred:
Experience designing and developing learning solutions of various modalities for adult learners, while leveraging adult learning principles (minimum 4 years)
Experience developing in Articulate Rise or similar authoring tool (minimum 4 years)
Experience communicating and developing relationships with professionals at various levels (minimum 4 years)
Experience developing presentations in PowerPoint (minimum 4 years)
Experience with SCORM package deployment and management
Experience in graphic design and video production
Experience with Creative Cloud
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree

POSITION IS HYBRID / 4 days a week in the office in Dearborn, MI. Customer would also consider candidates that live in the Nashville area and would be able to work out of the building located at 9009 Carothers Pkwy - Franklin, TN 37067
