Lab Operations & Facility Management

  • Manage lab layout and organization, ensuring lab space is optimized for efficient workflows
  • Track and manage lab equipment and assets-from procurement requests and receiving through installation, maintenance scheduling, and eventual decommissioning
  • Maintain an up-to-date equipment inventory and asset register
  • Conduct and document regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard reviews for the lab environment

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams of researchers, engineers, vendors, and facilities staff

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting an R&D, engineering, or robotics lab environment
  • Familiar with OEM safety standards and requirements
  • Basic understanding of robotic systems and vacuum and electro-mechanical equipment
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced research environment where priorities can shift quickly
