Lab Operations & Facility Management
- Manage lab layout and organization, ensuring lab space is optimized for efficient workflows
- Track and manage lab equipment and assets-from procurement requests and receiving through installation, maintenance scheduling, and eventual decommissioning
- Maintain an up-to-date equipment inventory and asset register
- Conduct and document regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard reviews for the lab environment
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams of researchers, engineers, vendors, and facilities staff
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supporting an R&D, engineering, or robotics lab environment
- Familiar with OEM safety standards and requirements
- Basic understanding of robotic systems and vacuum and electro-mechanical equipment
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced research environment where priorities can shift quickly
