Job Overview
We are seeking a CAE Engineer to support the analysis and development of lightweight structural materials and components for advanced automotive applications. This role combines computational modeling and hands-on laboratory testing, offering the opportunity to work across both simulation and experimental validation.
Key Responsibilities
CAE Duties
•Perform CAE simulations for lightweight structural materials and components.
•Conduct fiber-reinforced composite structural modeling (bending, torsion, compression, and tension).
•Support crash simulations at the system, component, and vehicle level using LS-DYNA.
Hands-on laboratory focused duties (training will be provided)
•Prepare and test material samples, including laminated glass and functional interlayers.
•Conduct material characterization, including UV-VIS spectroscopy, mechanical testing, and thermal image mapping.
•Analyze experimental and simulation data using Excel, MATLAB, and FLIR Tools.
•Document results and collaborate with engineering teams to support research and development efforts.
Qualifications
•Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
•Exposure to CAE/FEA tools and structural analysis.
•Interest in composite materials, crash simulation, and laboratory testing.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
