Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Utilize industry resources to predict future trends from 3rd party safety rating organizations
- Latin NCAP, US-NCAP, IIHS, etc.
- Continuous monitoring, summarizing, and reporting of industry safety trends
- Technical Safety Data Maintenance
- Maintain official external safety test schedules
- Develop/Maintain Test Result Databases
- IIHS Top Safety Pick Award
- Populate test results and final ratings
- Co-work with sales teams and their marketing agencies in correct usage of safety award advertisements
- Maintain award status and trophy inventory
- Administrative Support
- Team activity, project, and travel calendar maintenance
- Vendor communication
- Project status tracking
- Budget Support Tasks - Monitor / Analyze budget status - Purchase process support (RFQ, Purchase Request, Invoice submission)
- Other Responsibilities:
- Summarize & report research from 3rdparty safety organizations and competitor
- Summarize & report future test protocols / requirement
- Safety research meeting minutes creation
- General administrative support for department as needed
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (internal and external organizations)
- Maintain short term/long term schedules & budgets
- Travel up to 5% maximum
Experience and Skills
- 1 to 3 years' experience in similar field
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and summarize complex technical information into easy-to-understand report
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements
- Knowledge of Automotive Industry (safety related topics)
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and ethical behavior
- VBA/Macro, Coding experience and familiarity a plus
Minimum Requirements:
- Familiar with using databases and other research resources
- Proficient in database development
- Proficient time management and organization skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
- Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written)
- Strong Analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficient skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
