Primary Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Utilize industry resources to predict future trends from 3rd party safety rating organizations
    • Latin NCAP, US-NCAP, IIHS, etc.
  • Continuous monitoring, summarizing, and reporting of industry safety trends
  • Technical Safety Data Maintenance
    • Maintain official external safety test schedules
    • Develop/Maintain Test Result Databases
  • IIHS Top Safety Pick Award
    • Populate test results and final ratings
    • Co-work with sales teams and their marketing agencies in correct usage of safety award advertisements
    • Maintain award status and trophy inventory
  • Administrative Support
    • Team activity, project, and travel calendar maintenance
    • Vendor communication
    • Project status tracking
    • Budget Support Tasks - Monitor / Analyze budget status - Purchase process support (RFQ, Purchase Request, Invoice submission)
  • Other Responsibilities:
    • Summarize & report research from 3rdparty safety organizations and competitor
    • Summarize & report future test protocols / requirement
    • Safety research meeting minutes creation
    • General administrative support for department as needed
  • Work collaboratively with cross functional teams (internal and external organizations)
  • Maintain short term/long term schedules & budgets
  • Travel up to 5% maximum

Experience and Skills

  • 1 to 3 years' experience in similar field
  • Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and summarize complex technical information into easy-to-understand report
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing business requirements
  • Knowledge of Automotive Industry (safety related topics)
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate integrity, and ethical behavior
  • VBA/Macro, Coding experience and familiarity a plus

Minimum Requirements:

  • Familiar with using databases and other research resources
  • Proficient in database development
  • Proficient time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
  • Excellent Communication Skills (oral and written)
  • Strong Analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
