Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist to work with large, complex datasets and drive data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistics and machine learning, along with an engineering background (mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing) to support data applications in real-world operational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform Big Data analytics on large, complex, and high-volume datasets
Apply statistical methods and classical machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering) to solve business and engineering problems
Develop, validate, and deploy predictive and analytical models
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable solutions
Utilize appropriate analytics and machine learning tools to process and analyze structured and unstructured data
Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong foundation in statistics and/or classical machine learning techniques
Proficiency in data analysis and ML tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar)
Ability to work with large-scale datasets and perform complex data analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Experience with Databricks
Knowledge of optimization techniques and algorithms
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments
