Position Description:
Agency HR Investigator We are looking to hire an HR Investigator who can do the following tasks:
Investigate workplace issues/complaints raised through internal company channels, including complaints of harassment, retaliation, and other violations of company policy.
Ensure proper handling and disposition of cases involving salaried employees and union-represented employees.
Prepare, track, and maintain appropriate investigation documentation.
Manage employee data and statements in a highly confidential manner.
Draft concise and clear investigation reports. Foster an effective, inclusive work environment/culture and relationships, balancing employee advocacy with stewardship of company goals and values.
Provide support to salaried personnel, as appropriate
Support all health and safety requirements of employees, as applicable

Experience Required:
5 or more years of experience of conducting investigations, including interviewing and dispositioning, and overall case management
2 or more years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Working in a manufacturing and/or unionized environment
Must agree to be flexible with their schedule, as some investigations are from employees who work the evening or weekend shift. There may be times when the Investigator will need to work a split shift or night shift at times during the week to get employee statements. The Investigator can work with the department manager when adjustments are needed on their schedule.
