Job Description:
Design a propulsion controller to be used for production. The team is around 10 people, engineers and designers, developing every circuit within the controller and circuit board. This is a brand new team just recently created to support this new initiative.

Required Skills:
Ability to solder small electrical components (e.g. 0805, 0402, etc.)
Experience with hot air reflow (e.g. IC replacement)
Assist engineers in root causing failed electrical components
Familiarity with bench lab equipment - Power supplies, oscilloscopes, load boxes, flash tools
Ability to create (design and build) wire harnesses
Build Test Boxes / Breakout boards
Mechanical assembly (hand tools) - ability to assemble and disassemble controllers
Ability to multitask and clearly document status per controller

Preferred Skills:
Can follow Schematic Markup
Printed circuit board (PCB) check out and visual inspections

Education/Experience:
Education requirement - Associates Degree preferred but not required. High School Diploma is required
Years of experience - 8-10 years' experience required
Electronics background (3-5 years of experience)
Someone hands on and that can work independently
Most of the team currently came from an automotive background which is nice and helpful, but not required

Hiring Manager's Top Skills:
