Position Description:
Program Manager - Body In White Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Program Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of engineering program deliverables. The ideal candidate will manage part release tracking, material certification status, engineering timing, and overall program health reporting. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency with JIRA and Confluence to maintain accurate and transparent program documentation
Key Responsibilities
Program Tracking & Reporting o Manage and maintain detailed tracking of part releases, engineering changes, and material certifications. o Develop and update program timing charts, status dashboards, and health reports using JIRA and Confluence. o Identify risks, delays, and dependencies early; communicate impacts and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
JIRA & Confluence Administration o Create and manage program boards, workflows, and dashboards to monitor engineering deliverables. o Ensure consistent documentation and process adherence across teams using Confluence pages and templates.
Cross-Functional Collaboration o Coordinate between engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment on milestones and deliverables. o Facilitate regular status meetings, publish action items, and follow up to ensure completion.
Communication & Reporting o Prepare concise executive summaries, timing updates, and program health metrics for leadership reviews. o Support data-driven decision-making by maintaining accurate, real-time visibility into project progress.

Hardware Experience, Budgets/Timing, Program Management
Experience Required:
3 years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
Qualifications Required:
Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and related project management tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into clear, actionable information.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience Preferred:
Experience working in engineering development, automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with part release processes, engineering change management, and product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
Knowledge of Agile or Stage-Gate development processes.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree
