The Hourly Personnel Associate for the Lima Engine HR team will provide customer service to the hourly and salary workforce. The HPA is instrumental to providing excellent customer service to our hourly team members, as well as organizing employee records. The HPA is expected to research and understand the National and Local CBAs as it relates to the HPA role.
What you'll do...
Provide customer service to hourly and salary employees by responding to inquiries in a timely fashion
Assist hourly employees, management and union with various labor questions and issues
Onboarding of new hire employees and create personnel jackets and profiles
Ensure proper application of Collective Bargaining Agreement, particularly in job postings, promotions and payroll matters
Create and maintain records, including ensuring they are audit-compliant
Input transactions for hourly records in a timely fashion
Build and maintain positive Union / Management relations
Serve as Subject Matter Expert for questions regarding policy administration as it applies to hourly personnel
Support manpower planning processes, including hiring, layoffs, unemployment, etc.
Handle requests and inquiries from OEM's legal and retirement divisions
Support HR Labor Relations team as needed

Proficient experience with Microsoft office tools, especially Excel and Word
Organization and planning skills
Strong written and oral communications skills
Able to plan and organize to meet project goals and deadlines
Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments/projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Experience Preferred:
Prior experience in a Manufacturing labor environment
Prior experience with HCM and WF1
Education Required:
High School Diploma / GED
Education Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree
