Basic Qualifications

Professional experience building, integrating, or validating manufacturing or industrial digital twins of robotic workcells, production equipment, or physical manufacturing processes using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, or a comparable platform.

Strong Python programming skills, with experience developing maintainable simulation workflows, extensions, modules, tools, or data-processing applications using simulation APIs.

Experience working with robotic workcell simulation, including joint positions, velocities, trajectories, coordinate frames, tool paths, and timestamps.

Experience connecting real-time or recorded robot data to simulation environments, preferably from industrial robots such as FANUC.

Understanding of robotic workcells, fixtures, tooling, sensors, production equipment, and manufacturing-process data within an industrial or manufacturing digital twin.

Experience using simulation and digital-twin models to study, reproduce, or analyze physical manufacturing behavior, such as welding, material interaction, tool motion, or other manufacturing processes.

Experience comparing simulation results with real robot, sensor, or process data and refining simulation models based on observed differences.

Ability to explain simulation assumptions, data requirements, limitations, and results to engineering and manufacturing stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience building manufacturing or robotic workcell digital twins using NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Omniverse, including scene creation, asset integration, sensor configuration, extensions, custom modules, or automated simulation workflows.

Experience with NVIDIA Omniverse Kit, Isaac Sim Python APIs, OpenUSD, USD asset composition, and simulation-ready 3D content.

Experience integrating robot telemetry, CAD models, fixtures, tooling, equipment states, process parameters, and sensor data into a manufacturing digital twin.

Experience streaming or replaying industrial robot telemetry in a workcell or manufacturing digital twin, including FANUC robot data or similar systems.

Experience simulating manufacturing-process behavior and data, particularly welding, thermal behavior, material interaction, tool motion, or process quality.

Familiarity with Simufact or comparable manufacturing-process simulation software and its data outputs.

Experience modeling or validating cameras, encoders, force/torque sensors, or other sensors used in robotic workcells.

Experience with C for simulation extensions, performance-sensitive components, or integration with existing engineering software.

Experience with robot simulation tools such as FANUC RoboGuide, Siemens Process Simulate, Gazebo, Visual Components, RoboDK, or equivalent platforms.

Helpful Domain Experience

Practical experience with FANUC robots, robot controllers, teach pendant programs, robot logs, or industrial robot data formats.

Experience with manufacturing applications such as welding, fastening, dispensing, assembly, material handling, inspection, or dimensional measurement.

Working knowledge of physical factors affecting manufacturing simulation, including heat input, material behavior, tool position, operating speed, and process variation.

Experience creating synthetic test cases, replayable simulation scenarios, or virtual commissioning workflows using real manufacturing data.

Familiarity with GPU-based simulation. Advanced GPU parallelization and performance engineering are not required for this role.

Experience with digital-twin lifecycle practices, including asset configuration, calibration, validation, versioning, and ongoing maintenance.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, controls, computer science, physics, or a related field.
