  • Support pick-and-place and similar tasks by resetting the scene, repositioning objects or task elements, and rerunning tasks when required.
  • Monitor task execution for unexpected robot behavior, system errors, camera issues, or other conditions that could affect safety or data quality.
  • Draft observation to the minute details as much as possible about robot observation.
  • Use the Fanuc teach pendant to move the robot to a safe, recoverable position and reset the task.
  • Record task outcomes, failures, resets, and relevant observations accurately and consistently.
  • Escalate recurring hardware, software, connectivity, or safety issues to the appropriate engineering or operations team.

  • Comfort using Linux command-line tools and following documented startup and recovery procedures.
  • Ability to operate technical software interfaces carefully and consistently while monitoring a physical robotic system.
  • Strong safety awareness
  • Ability to troubleshoot methodically, stay focused during repetitive task execution, and document issues clearly.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with engineers, operators, and shift partners during handoffs and issue escalation.

  • Experience working in a robotics lab, manufacturing environment, test facility, or other safety-sensitive technical setting.

Work environment:

  • This is an on-site role performed around robotic equipment, cameras, computing systems, and associated test or data-collection hardware.
  • The schedule is expected to be any eight hours during the 7:00 PM-8:00 AM window.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in an operational environment where sustained attention, procedural discipline, and safe interaction with robotic systems are essential.

Use of AI Technology:
Unless expressly authorized in the interview/skill set validation instructions, candidates may not use AI tools or other third-party assistance during an interview or assessment to generate or provide substantive answers to interview questions.
